Here are just some of the most popular questions we receive from our customers over the last 12 months. We wanted to share these with you but of you have a specific question in mind about your project, please feel free to get in touch.
How long is likely to take for me to receive a quote for my new kitchen please?
Once we have been to visit you and have an initial discussion we will get the design underway almost straight away. This process usually takes a few days giving you time to consider all of your options. We are on hand to discuss any questions you may have during this time.
Can you fit around my family’s busy schedule when refitting our bathroom?
Yes we can accommodate all situations as we appreciate most households can be busy. We even offer the use of a very clean portable toilet if the situation calls for it. Please ask for more details when you request a quote.
Do we need to apply for Planning Permission before we convert our garage?
No. You do not need to apply for planning permission, but you will need to submit a building control application. We can assist you with this. Just ask for more details.
Do you work on the weekends or evenings?
Unfortunately, not. Our working hours are Monday to Friday 8am -4pm.
If I would like to change something once the project is underway, is this possible?
We would ask that you let us know ASAP if there is anything you wish to amend, and we can discuss if this is possible. If so, we would agree a plan of action and offer the best solution for you.
How long is a bathroom refit likely to take?
Depending on the project, this could be anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks. With some larger remodelling projects this timescale may be extended to 3 weeks.
What kind of warranty or guarantee do you offer for my new kitchen?
We offer a 1-year minimum and 3 year maximum guarantee on all of our work and up to 25 years on the materials.
Do you require a deposit from me once I have accepted your quote?
Yes we always take a deposit which is likely to be around 30% of the total project price. This covers the time in the diary and is used to pay for the materials up front.
How quickly can you get started?
Sometimes as soon as 4 weeks however we believe it's important for you to have the time to consider the project in its entirety and that you are happy for us to put a date in the diary to get started.
Is there a cost involved in getting a quote for a kitchen?
No. We do not charge for our estimates.
When you have finished, can you dispose of our old bathroom suite?
We always take our waste away from your home. We very rarely use skips on the driveway (except with much larger projects) and we have our own yard where we can dispose of waste. We are also registered waste carriers with the Environment Agency.
Do you have any recent case studies we can look at please?

I have an issue with some plumbing in my kitchen, is this something you could help me with?
Our core business is kitchens, bathrooms and garage conversions however, we can also undertake all kinds of work including plumbing. We suggest you get in touch by requesting a quote here on our website.
Are you insured against any issues or problems which may arise?
Yes we have an insurance policy that covers us for up to £5,000,000 for all kinds of construction work.
What areas do you cover aside from Peterborough itself?
Generally, we cover the Peterborough area and Stamford too. However, we have worked in other areas also which are further afield. Please get in touch to discuss if we can cover your area.
Is it possible for radiators to be installed in our garage?
Yes. Anything is possible and heating in a ‘warm space’ is essential for your home.
I’m looking for someone to refit my downstairs cloakroom. Can you help me with this?
Yes. This falls into our bathroom fitting service.
How much say do we get with the design of our new kitchen?
We will provide you with a wide range of options tailoring the design fully to your needs. We are also on hand to help advise you ensuring you get the exact kitchen you are dreaming of.
